The sleeveless outfit worn by the cover star of Footwear News was designed by Fausto Puglisi. It featured a bustier bodice with asymmetric straps that flowed into a draped slit skirt and ended with a slit. To achieve a weathered, appropriate for the year 2000 look, the piece had details such as stonewashed fading, raw-cut frayed gods, and seams.
The most recent event was distinguished by Perry’s denim costume, which consisted of a flowing denim gown. The singer previously channelled Britney Spears’ famous denim gown worn at the 2001 American Music Awards by wearing a studded patchwork denim gown by Versace alongside Riff Raff at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.
